Hello Friends, I’m Tristan, the Dude behind Que Sera, Syrah. A former medical device engineer who one day picked up the phone and discovered wine was calling him. As cheesy as that sounds, it’s true. Wine is now my emergency contact.

I founded Que Sera, Syrah because I love wine, more specifically boutique/small production wine. I’m talking about quality, limited production, made with a purpose and often at a sacrifice, all for the love of making wine, wine.

 

I have experience in sales, marketing, pouring in the tasting room, and have my WSET 3 certification (with merit). This just means I’ve made wine my life while continuing to study and learn more about it. My first lesson was that wine is more of a journey than anything else.

 

Que Sera, Syrah is a play on words with “que sera, sera” which loosely translates to “whatever will be, will be” in Spanish. I agree with that approach to life and with wine, I believe whatever you like, you like. We just have to discover what that is and it’s OK if we don’t like the same stuff.
